Hiking, horse riding and cycling

Around the Domaine de l'Orangerie, several routes allow you to discover the region in a concrete and accessible way.
For hiking, the Bonnat loop offers a route of approximately 8 km, or 2.5 hours of walking, ideal for a leisurely outing. The Petite Creuse Valley circuit, about 25 minutes away, offers a 12 km route with beautiful viewpoints. The Toulx-Sainte-Croix trail, 35 minutes away, allows for a more challenging 14 km hike around the panoramic tower.
For horseback riding, marked trails exist around Bonnat and Genouillac, with outings of 2 to 4 hours organized by local riding centers. The routes follow wide, quiet paths, perfect for riding safely. Full-day rides are also available for more experienced riders.
For cycle touring, the Bonnat–Genouillac–Chéniers loop offers a circuit of approximately 30 km, accessible by road bike. Mountain bikers can explore forest trails around Maupuy, with circuits ranging from 15 to 40 km. These routes combine quiet roads and nature trails for a varied experience.
